Chilly Dawg Run Sizzles
Nearly 400 runners braved cool temperatures to compete in the inaugural Chilly Dawg 5K Run/Walk at Sandy Creek Park on Jan. 31. Among the winners was Melissa Landers-Potts (Lecturer, Human Development and Family Science) who won the women’s overall category with a time of 20:57. The fund-raiser, sponsored by the FACS Alumni Association, raised $4,622, which will be used to fund scholarships and alumni activities. The Second Annual Chilly Dawg 5K is already set for Jan. 30, 2010.
