Students
The Child Development Lab is open to students for observation from 7:30am to 11:30am and 2:30 pm until 5:30 pm. Students are required to sign in at the front office before visiting a classroom and sign out before leaving the center.
Parents
Parents of children enrolled at the Child Development Lab are welcome to visit the classrooms and observation booths at any time (7:30am-5:30 pm). Prospective parents can contact the main office in order to schedule an appointment for a tour of the center.
Childcare Providers
We welcome other childcare providers to visit the Child Development Lab. Please call the Director or Program Coordinator in order to schedule a tour or appointment.

Directions to CDL-McPhaul Center
Off of the 10 Loop,exitonto College Station Road (Exit #7) following signs turning towards the University of Georgia campus. After crossing the railroad tracks, turn right onto East Campus Road and begin merging into the left lane. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Carlton Street. Go through one traffic light, past UGA’s Stegeman Coliseum on the left. The Child Development Lab at the McPhaul Center is directly across the street from Stegeman Coliseum. At the second light, turn right off of Carlton Street onto Sanford Drive and immediately turn right in to the S10 parking lot. |
