Research:
My program of research focuses on the predictors and consequences of various types of parenting behaviors. I am particularly interested in the intergenerational transission of problem behaviors such as adolescent delinquency, risky sex, and dating violence.

Interests:
I am interested in family factors such as parenting and family structure and the ways in which those family factors is related to the intergenerational transmission of violence and other problem behaviors (such as delinquency and risky sexual behavior), contextual factors that mediate/moderate the relationship between parenting, and developmental outcomes for adolescents/emerging adults.
