In the process of deactivation

The purpose of the PreK to 2nd Grade Emphasis Graduate Teacher Preparation Program is to develop exemplary teachers of young children for public or private settings. This emphasis represents a collaborative effort between the faculty of Child and Family Development and Early Childhood Education. Upon completion of the program students receive a Master of Arts for Teachers degree. The program prepares students to apply for Pre-K to 5th grade certification from the State of Georgia.

Handbook for MAT Program

Applications for Spring 2011 are due October 15, 2010. In addition to materials outlined in the handbook, applicants must apply to the UGA graduate school for degree code 221A ( Early Childhood Education - Child & Family Dev MAT ).
