Primary Responsibilities of the FACS Grants Office
- Consulting with faculty and graduate students to develop grant proposals
- Editing proposals
- Monitoring for correctness and compliance with agency guidelines
- Rewriting portions of applications as needed
- Reviewing and evaluating proposals prior to submission
Secondary Responsibilities of the FACS Grants Office
- Responding to faculty questions surrounding compliance issues
- Ensuring compliance with grant policies and regulations according to Federal, University, and various Sponsor guidelines
- Grant compliance with the OMB Circular A-21
Additional Services
- Locating funding opportunities for faculty from federal, state, and private sponsors
- Assisting with the electronic grants submission process including grants.gov
- Coordinating with the Office of Sponsored Programs and Contracts and Grants
