The Family Therapy Clinic is located in the McPhaul Center. Parking is available in designated parking spots with a valid permit. You will be given a permit when you arrive for your first session. Google Maps Directions.

Hao-Min Chen |
Hao-Min is a clinical member of American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Her area of specializations is culture and diversity issues embedded in couple and family relationships. She has enjoyed working with clients with diverse backgrounds in terms of different gender, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. She applies social constructionist, experiential, collaborative and feminist-informed approaches in her clinical work. Hao-Min received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, and a Master of Art degree in Marriage and Family Therapy form Syracuse University. |

Lyndsey R. Hjelmstad |
Lyndsey has experience providing individual, couple, and family therapy to adolescents and adults. Her areas of interest include couple conflict and communication, sibling relationships, sex therapy, and transgenerational and experiential therapies. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Family Studies from Central Michigan University. Lyndsey is a student member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. |

Pei-Fen Li |
Pei-Fen specializes in working with families of adolescents and detained youth. She has additional experience working with cross-cultural couples and families. Pei-Fen received her Master’s degree from the University of Oregon in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a student member of the American Assocation for Marriage and Family Therapy. |

Megan McRell

Megan’s areas of interest include gender development and identity, strengthening of self-esteem, and impact of school bullying on the family. She has experience providing family, individual and couple therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Megan received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Drexel University. Carla P. Nancoo

Carla has clinical experience working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations within a psychiatric hospital setting. Her specializations include cultural issues within families, trauma, and working with marginalized populations. Carla received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and her Master of Social Work degree, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, from The University of Georgia. She is a clinical member of the National Association of Social Workers and a student member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. |

Kelly Stidham-Kennedy

Kelly has experience providing couple and individual therapy to adolescents and adults. Her specializations include couple conflict and communication, couple enrichment, and the impact of illness and disability on the family. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Clemson University and her Master's degree in Child and Family Development from The University of Georgia. Kelly is Prepare-Enrich Certified and a student member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. |

Morgan Stinson |
Morgan has experience working with individuals, couples, and families with a chronic illness; working with the Latino individuals, couples, and families and their integration into US culture; other areas of interest include working with families with a child or adolescent with a developmental disability, and the effects of spirituality on the families and couples. Some particular areas of research interest include integrating Medical Family Therapy across cultures and disciplines, common factors research in MFT, intimate partner violence among the Latino population, and the effects of compassion fatigue with MFTs. Morgan received his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Marriage, Family, and Human Development and a Master’s degree from East Carolina University in Marriage and Family Therapy. Morgan is student member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. |

Lisa Zak-Hunter

Lisa's areas of interest include the impact of eating disorders on families, as well as families dealing with illness or disability. She has experience working with both families and individuals with medical concerns, crisis response, and Spanish-speaking couples and families. Lisa is also certified in PREPARE/ENRICH. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish Studies from the University of Minnesota. She is a student member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. |
