Family and Consumer Sciences Education
The Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences is offered jointly by the College of Education and the College of Family and Consumer Sciences. Family and Consumer Sciences education prepares educators to strengthen home and family life and prepares people for Family and Consumer Science careers. The curriculum provides study in teaching methodology as well as in the fields of child and family development, foods and nutrition, housing and consumer economics, and textiles, merchandising, and interiors.
