Overview
The Nutrition Intervention Laboratory is led by Dr. Rebecca Mullis. Her work encompasses local, state, and national projects. She is assisted by a Ph.D. and masters level graduate student (graduate assistants). In this laboratory, nutrition interventions are developed and evaluated using a variety of approaches and menthods. For 24-hour dietary recalls, research assistants are trained on the state-of-the-art Nutrition Data System softwAll team members are trained in the development and implementation of community based intervention programs and dietary assessment procedures necessary to help implement dietary interventions and assessment activities, such as validity and reliability testing of dietary instruments.
