Job Description
Meet Ana Ortiz. Ana is a second year MS student in the Textiles, Merchandising and Interiors department, studying Cultural and Historical Aspects of Dress. She graduated with her MLIS from UCLA in 2021, focusing her research on archiving clothing collections and the information-seeking behavior of fashion students. At the Special Collections Library Ana is continuing her studies as an intern, rehousing and updating the finding aids for the UGA Historic Clothing and Textile Collection (@uga_hctc). She has worked with clothing and textile collections at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Oregon State University, and Loyola Marymount University.
