Research
My research interests primarily focus on social and relational mechanisms via families and peers that affect adolescent development, specifically the mechanisms of intergenerational transmission and peer influences, and their impact on adolescent development of health behaviors and attitudes.

Outreach
Implement grant provided by the Department of Health & Human Services, Administration for Children & Families and the Georgia Division of Family & Children Services for the Relationship Smarts Plus (RS+) program; manage RS+ program; work closely with 4-H Extension agents to ensure successful programming for youth in counties all over Georgia; prepare and submit data and other documentation for grant reporting
