Each year, the College of Family and Consumer Sciences presents several awards to outstanding alumni, faculty, and friends. The various awards recognize the many contributions made to the college, the profession, and society.

Serves as director of the Nutrition and Skeletal Health Laboratory and Assistant Professor of Nutritional Sciences at UGA's College of Family and Consumer Sciences

Lance Palmer (Ph.D. 2004, Family, Consumer and Human Development/Consumer Sciences)
Helped to establish the Financial Planning program at UGA and works closely with the UGA Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program

FACS Appreciation Award
Grant is a Clinical Associate Professor at the UGA School of Law and serves on the ASPIRE Clinic Advisory Group, where she facilitates interdisciplinary case rounds between FACS and law students working at ASPIRE
